Stephen is the Managing Partner and is responsible for the residential and commercial departments. He is a Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent and is a member of the Grantham Rotary Club and takes an avid interest in all local activities. Outside of work his hobbies include the countryside, gardening, walking and his family.

Maggie is the firm’s longest serving member of staff being the Senior Secretary and works for Mr Short, Mr Brownlow and Mr Bishop. She is a wizard on the keyboard (not musical) and works to a high level of efficiency and professionalism at all times. No task is ever too big or too small and Maggie treats everything with the utmost confidentiality. Maggie enjoys cryptic crosswords, travelling, gardening and is devoted to her grandchildren.

Residential Partner of the firm, Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent. Ian is one of the most experienced local chartered surveyors with over 30 year’s local experience and with a wealth of knowledge and is highly respected within the industry. Ian has a wide range of interests outside work including music, theatre, keep fit, marathon running and is a member of many other local organisations. 

Debbie provides secretarial support to Ian Shaw including the preparation of Homebuyers Reports, arrangement of his appointments for valuations, surveys and EPCs. Her interests include Theatre going, foreign travel and shopping!

Geoffrey is the Agricultural Partner for the firm and heads the agricultural department. Geoffrey is well known to all the farmers in and around Grantham, and surrounding areas. His interests include horse riding and spending time with his family.

Lucy is Geoffrey’s assistant within the agricultural department and is well known to many of the farmers in and around Grantham and surrounding area. Lucy’s interests are all rural pursuits, horse riding, singing, and making jewellery.

Vicky provides the vital administrative support in the agricultural department and is secretary to Geoffrey Bishop

Diane Park MNAEA is the Residential Sales Manager at Grantham and also oversees the Lettings Department. Diane has over 23 years experience in all aspects of Estate Agency & the Lettings Industry and is the Residential Valuer. Diane’s interests are walking, Fishing, watching cricket and wine tasting.

Ed is multi talented estate agent and can provide a wide range of advice for all your property needs including selling and buying and now providing residential valuations. He has passed his NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Estate Agency and more recently became a dad and his hobbies include football mainly Sheffield Wednesday, snooker and most sports and his family.

Louise is a highly talented individual, who has passed the NFOPP Technical award and NVQ in Residential Estate Agency. Louise entered the business straight from school and in a short time has matured far beyond her years. Louise will help you with all your residential property requirements and also relocation needs. Louise’s interests are Radley Handbags and any designer shoes.

Pam has over 20 years experience within the property industry. Whilst having a focus on customer service and maintaining all aspects of our clients’ needs. Her interests are family, reading and cooking.

Ashleigh is an experienced Lettings Vauler and Negotiator. She started her career working on Lettings Administration and has progressed to her current role of Senior Lettings Valuer. She enjoys keeping fit at the gym and enjoys playing squash on a regular basis. Her main aim with Escritt Barrell Golding is to expand the Lettings Teams portfolio.

Michaela works full time in the residential lettings department. Her last profession was a Nursery Nurse, and she also went to Grantham College for a year and studied law, accountancy and psychology. Setting her up for a career in residential lettings! Michaela’s interests include her family, friends, music and shopping. In September 2009 Michaela passed the NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management and more recently has got engaged and sends most of her time planning her wedding.

Rosje is one of our longest serving members of staff and has a wealth of knowledge in residential lettings and jointly runs our Residential Lettings department in Grantham. Rosje has considerable experience and is well known in the local area. Rosje is a volunteer fundraiser of the local charity GIFTS (Grantham Initiative for Terminal Support) and supports them with their events. Her other interests include her family, foreign travel and rugby.

Sandra works part-time in the residential lettings department. Sandra’s interests are her family, reading, and property renovation at home and abroad.

Lizze works in the letting and accounts departments. She is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and good local knowledge. She deals with the letting procedures and legislation. Lizze enjoys spending time with her family and friends and entertaining.

David heads our Sleaford residential department and is able to provide an honest appraisal of your residential property. David cares for all properties as if they were his own. In his spare time David’s interests are holidays, family and Indian cooking.

Our front line weekend negotiator, Hayley, is well established at Sleaford and has good local knowledge, an outgoing personality and is extremely helpful with your property requirements. Hayley’s interests are her family and numerous other hobbies.

Janice fronts our Bradford & Bingley Building Society agency in Sleaford but also assists in many other areas of the business. She is an integral part of the Sleaford office and is well known locally. Janice’s interests include travelling in Europe.

Philips has over 15 years experiencing within the property industry. Whilst having a focus on customer service and maintaining all aspects of our clients’ needs. His interests are his friends and family and he also enjoys semi professional fishing.

Edward Wreglesworth qualified in Nottingham as a Chartered Surveyor in 1969 and joined the Sleaford Office of Escritt and Barrell in 1975. During his tenure as the resident Senior Partner at the Sleaford Branch the world of estate agency has been transformed including the transition from paper based systems to computerisation. 35 years of local experience are however still to hand in the increasingly specialised residential, commercial and agricultural property sectors.

Margaret is the Senior Accounts/Personnel Administrator and is a key member of the firm’s team as she pays everyone’s salary and deals with all the accounts, payroll, personnel, stationery and works most of the time under pressure. Margaret’s interests are foreign travel, ten-pin bowling and her family.

Former Senior Partner but now a Consultant to the firm who is semi retired. His interests include, walking, writing books, countryside, and his family. Bob is a well known raconteur and is well known on the after dinner speech circuit.
